The eagle (the vulture) has been a symbol for many nations in ancient and modern times. During the Crusades, it was engraved on the flags of Muslim armies. This bird is distinguished by its sharp eyesight and keenness of vision, as it is characterized by a very strong body and great speed of flight; the birds build their nests on the tops of tall trees or on high rocks or in caves. The eagle lays its eggs in the nest, then leaves them under the warmth of the sun, and for this reason they are often a delicious meal for some strong birds! Among the animals that are always prey for the eagle are the snake, the lizard, and the rabbit. Among the things the eagle likes to eat are some animals; it uses a piece of rock and carries it in its beak, then drops it on the egg until it breaks, and after that it drinks and eats its contents!
[*] Egg: what hatches from it are the young of some animals.
