When we go to the hot regions, we see fascinating scenery from afar, and as we get closer to it, we see the beautiful palm trees. Just as these trees have great material importance, they form the basis of livelihood for many of the inhabitants, as they are a main food in some desert regions, and some of their fruits are dried and \underline{sent to other regions!}

Palm trees have different types, as there are about 1500 varieties; among them the date palm which is considered (= counted) among the most important, and the olive palm which is used in making soaps and cosmetics!

The height of the palm reaches 27 meters and its trunk is very rough, because it is an expression of the remains of a palm branch that falls or is cut when the tree grows a lot!
